As the sun starts to set on this Labor Day and the three day weekend that is the tail bookend of summer, it is with a big smile and a sense of gratitude that I think about our experiences as part of Cowhugger this past year.  We launched our site in July and we continue to work on improving it.  We have enjoyed being part of area festivals and making new friends and acquaintances.  One of the really wonderful things that seems constant no matter what vegan festival we attend, whether as a vendor or a patron, is that the people who attend are always so friendly and upbeat.  The passion for making the world a better place and the commitment to speaking out on behalf of and making a difference in the lives of animals is so prevalent amongst the people that we encounter at these events, we always come away inspired and humbled by so much heart and determination.  These people plant seeds of awareness and enlightenment and demonstrate that living cruelty-free with  compassion and kindness as guiding principles is a powerful way to lead a beautiful life.
