When we launched cowhugger, we aspired to influence the way people considered their fashion choices. We hoped that by sharing beautiful, high quality alternatives to animal-derived materials, we could make it easier for people to see how their choices impact the world around them and that choosing with conscience has a real impact when it comes to sparing animals, people and the environment from harm.
We are grateful for those who make compassionate choices in their daily lives, their actions make a difference and inspire others to prioritize compassion in their lives as well.
There are so very many organizations that are making huge differences in the lives of animals, in the defense of the environment and in the lives of vulnerable people every day and we want to help them as much as we can. To this end we have contributed monetarily, as well as donated products and gift cards for their fundraising.
This year, in addition, we embark on a program of donating 5% of sales of our branded apparel to different organizations who are doing lifesaving, selfless work to assist them with their missions.
